The nose is spicy and offers some gourmandize. There are notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy strawberry and more lightly toasted notes combined with touches of warm spices, ripe/fresh berries and a fine touch of pepper and cardamom. The palate is fruity, balanced and reveals freshness, juiciness, minerality, volume, roundness, an acidic backbone and a fine fruit content. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cherry, tart/fresh raspberry and slightly juicy/fresh blackcurrant combined with hints of violet, cardamom and fine mocha, a very discreet hint of clove and toast (in the background). The tannins are very fine and mellow.
