Château de Cartujac 2021 – Haut-Médoc Cru Bourgeois

The nose is fruity and reveals a fine fleshiness. There are notes of rose and, more slightly, of crushed redcurrants, combined with fine touches of fleshy/juicy blackcurrant, as well as fine hints of nutmeg and toasted almond. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers gourmandize, juiciness, some suavity, tension and a fine tannic structure. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy red cherry, bright red berries and, more slightly, fleshy/juicy blackcurrant, combined with hints of violet, as well as fine caramelisation and a discreet touch of nutmeg. The tannins are discreetly dry and powdery.
