The nose is tight and shows a certain concentration, accuracy and minerality. There are notes of wild raspberry, racy minerality and, more slightly, pulpy blackberry combined with touches of crushed dark berries, star anise and fine hints of blond tobacco. The palate shows freshness, minerality, a certain roundness and volume. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, crushed raspberry and, more lightly, small dark berries supported by touches of violet, lily, zan, as well as fine notes of caramelisation, vanilla, a subtle hint of sweet blond tobacco and chocolate. A little chewiness on the finish/persistence. The tannins are mellow.
