The nose is fruity, racy and reveals power, juiciness and concentration. Juicy/acidic strawberry, bright redcurrant and slightly brighter cherry notes are combined with fine floral notes and a subtle hint of spice, pepper and a hint of zan. The palate is fruity and shows juiciness, acidity, suppleness, a certain brightness of the fruit and a certain purity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright cherry, violet and more lightly bright red berry combined with hints of lily, liquorice as well as fine hints of berry, fresh plum and a subtle hint of cardamom (in the background). The tannins are well managed, smooth and supple. A very discreet hint of chocolate in the background.
