The nose is complex and intriguing with notes of cloves, vanilla, nutmeg supported by ripe yellow lemons, juicy grapefruits, white apples and pears, candied pear, honeysuckle and acacia. The palate is pleasant, round and bitter-sweet, full of orchard, citrus and tropical fruits supported by the aromas of caramel, noble wood and nice bitterness. The wine shows a lot of concentration and complexity. The finish is citrusy, chalky, mineral and lingering.
