Château Tour Carnet 2021 – Haut-Médoc 4ème Grand Cru Classé

The nose is fruity and reveals some concentration, a fine grain. There are notes of fleshy/pulpy blackberry, violet and more slightly fresh violet plum combined with delicate touches of fairly ripe red fruit as well as hints of liquorice stick, violet, a discreet touch of camphor and vanilla. The palate is fruity and reveals juiciness, smoothness, good definition, freshness and precision. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, violet and, more slightly, juicy/pulpy blue plum, combined with touches of bright red berries, blueberry, liquorice, as well as fine hints of bourbon vanilla and a discreet touch of toastiness. Good length. Sapidity on the finish/persistence.
