Domaine Remoriquet – L’Aligoté de Gilles 2020 – Bourgogne Aligoté

The nose is fresh, fruity and offers good definition, gourmandize and some airiness in its richness. We find notes of yellow apple, ripe apricot and, more slightly, fresh mirabelle plum combined with fine touches of quince and a subtle hint of spice. The palate is fruity and reveals a mineral backbone, juiciness, accuracy, a fine roundness, a nice freshness, energy, a vibrant side in its acidity as well as smoothness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy yellow apple, Mirabelle plum and, more slightly, quince, combined with delicate touches of juicy pineapple and fine hints of lemon, lemon blossom and a subtle almost verbena touch. Imperceptible hint of fresh beeswax in the background. Good length.
