The nose is fresh, racy and offers a fine grain, some small power and a fine incisiveness. There are notes of wild blackberry, full-bodied blackcurrant and, more lightly, full-bodied red berries, combined with hints of Sichuan pepper, violet, and a discreet hint of strawberry and a subtle touch of zan. The palate is fruity, balanced, discreetly tight and offers juiciness, minerality, acidity, roundness, fine unctuosity (in freshness), good freshness and tension. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy raspberry, small pulpy/juicy red berries and, more lightly, fresh lily/violet, combined with touches of crunchy cherry, as well as fine points of racy minerality, a subtle hint of liquorice, a discreet touch of toasted almond and fresh blond tobacco. Good length. Roundness, a fine unctuousness (in freshness).
