The nose is fruity, elegant, balanced and reveals a fine complexity and a little stretch/spice. There are notes of ripe wild blackcurrant, pulpy raspberry and, more slightly, bigarreau cherry, combined with fine touches of blueberry, lily and delicate/fine spice, a hint of smoke, sweet blond tobacco and a discreet touch of graphite and vanilla. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, freshness, good definition, minerality and an acidic backbone. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/fresh blackberry, fresh/pulpy blackcurrant and slightly crunchy cherry notes combined with hints of fresh redcurrant, fine vanilla, violet as well as fine hints of fresh lily, liquorice and toasted hazelnut. Good length. Nice acidity on the finish.
