The nose is powerful, elegant, fresh, aromatically pure and well defined. There are notes of bright wild blackcurrant, berries and, more slightly, violets, combined with fine touches of fleshy cherry, pepper, spices, and discreet hints of saline gravel and pine needles. The palate is fruity and reveals juiciness, freshness, a nice definition, a nice suavity, sapidity, elegance and gourmandize. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cherry, blueberry and, more slightly, bright blackcurrant, combined with hints of violet, racy gravel and discreet hints of star anise, bergamot, fresh nutmeg and cardamom. Sapidity and a nice work on the good bitter taste.
