Henri de Villamont 2020 – Puligny-Montrachet

The nose is fruity and reveals a certain power as well as fine gourmandize. There are notes of quince, zest and, to a lesser extent, fresh kumquat, combined with a fine hint of peach and discreet hints of spice and nutmeg. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, acidity, smoothness, a certain fullness and a little varietal character. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of ripe flat peach, pulpy nectarine and, more slightly, mesocarp, combined with fine varietal touches, as well as a fine hint of lemon and a discreet hint of nutmeg/sweet spice. Gourmandize, finesse, energy. Good length.
