The nose offers some richness, fine power and concentration. There are notes of quince, pulpy yellow fruits and more slightly beeswax combined with touches of sweet spices and a hint of nutmeg and vanilla. The palate is fresh, mineral, suave and reveals a fine unctuousness, a fine airiness as well as a nice precision / finesse in its definition and volume. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy pear, crushed, unctuous nectarine and more lightly sour lemon, zest combined with fine touches of quenette, delicate verbena hints and a subtle hint of racy, terroir minerality and vanilla.
