The nose is fruity, precise, racy and offers good definition and graininess. There are notes of fresh quince, fresh/juicy nectarine and more lightly zesty notes combined with hints of crisp white peach as well as fine hints of racy, earthy minerality, a subtle hint of iodine and an imperceptible almost white flower/pepper edge. The wine is fruity and reveals juiciness, accuracy, precision, minerality, a nice racy energy and a fine airiness in the approach. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright vine peach, juicy apple and more lightly crunchy berries combined with fine hints of lemon, discreet hints of exotic fruit and a subtle hint of white flowers, iodine and a discreet hint of fresh almond in the background. A subtle chewiness on the finish/persistence. A well-executed, racy, gourmet wine that benefits from being decanted. Good length.
