Château Respide – Cuvée Callipyge 2021 – Graves

The nose reveals notes of lemon, tangerine pulpiness/acidity and more lightly of crisp white berries combined with fine zest and a touch of grapefruit and passion fruit. The palate is fruity and offers acidity, good definition, a certain gourmandize, an acidic backbone and a fine airiness in the approach. On the palate this wine expresses notes of tart/sweet pink grapefruit, tart/sweet lemon and more slightly tart tangerine combined with hints of pink lychee and a subtle hint of passion fruit. Freshness and a subtle hint of toasted almond/berry in the background.
