The nose is complex and offers elegance, power and a fine, very discreetly tight grain. There are notes of lychee, quenette and more lightly of fresh/crunchy yellow fruits combined with delicate touches of quince, grapefruit, fine hints of beeswax, almost tangerine flesh and a subtle hint of saltiness. The palate is fruity, balanced, racy and reveals juiciness, a nice freshness, tension, good definition, roundness, a fine airy side as well as a delicate contained side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy quince, sweet tangerine and more lightly quenette combined with delicate touches of sweet kumquat, fine hints of exotic fruit as well as very discreet toasted almond and a subtle touch of toasted hazelnut. Good length. A very discreet hint of apricot at the back of the palate.
