The nose is fruity and reveals a fine richness/creaminess, red fruit with hints of lily, vanilla, crushed boysenberry and a subtle hint of graphite and an imperceptible hint of sense of place/grey pepper. The palate is fruity, tight and shows minerality, freshness, juiciness and creaminess. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/creamy raspberry, fresh blackcurrant and more lightly fresh/juicy red berries combined with touches of racy minerality, fresh violet, cardamom, liquorice and a hint of vanilla. Good length.
