The nose is fruity, elegant, racy and offers a lovely fine/racy/powerful grain, attention to detail and power. There are notes of bright boysenberry, blackcurrant and more lightly cardamom combined with hints of mocha, blond tobacco and fine toasted almond. The palate is fruity, discreetly tight, revealing freshness, minerality, good definition, acidity and some tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh blackberry, violet and more lightly blueberry combined with hints of cocoa/mocha, creamy strawberry, pulpy/fresh berries, graphite, racy minerality as well as fine vanilla and a hint of toastiness and vanilla. Nice definition and freshness on the palate. Complexity, roundness, volume. The tannins are precise and finely tight.
