The nose is elegant, precise and delicate. There are notes of bright wild blackcurrant, strawberry and slightly blue berries combined with fine touches of liquorice, crushed currants and fine hints of light tobacco and a subtle hint of dark chocolate and bourbon vanilla, with an imperceptible, almost sappy edge in the background. The palate is fruity, tangy, racy and reveals delicacy, minerality, definition and precision. On the palate this wine expresses bright blackberry, pulpy/acidic redcurrant and more lightly blue berries notes combined with hints of vanilla, lily, tangy/sparkling red berries and hints of sweet blond tobacco. Good length. The tannins are precise and mellow.
