Château de Francs – Les Cerisiers 2021 – Francs Côtes-de-Bordeaux

On the nose, there are notes of rose petal, fresh blackcurrant and, more slightly, blossom, combined with delicate touches of lily and pistil, as well as fine hints of crunchy cherry, nutmeg and a very discreet touch of clove. The palate is mineral, fruity and offers some volume, an acidic backbone, a good definition, a certain accuracy and a fresh flowers side. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fresh blackcurrant, fresh violet and, more slightly, blackcurrant blossom, combined with touches of crunchy red berries, lilies, sweet spices and a subtle hint of vanilla.
