The nose is spicy, racy and offers power with finesse, a nice fine and powerful grain and a little crystalline edge. There are notes of quince, crunchy peach and small notes of zest, combined with touches of fresh nutmeg, spices and a discreet hint of pepper in the background. The palate is fruity and reveals juiciness, acidity, energy, tension and a racy, slightly tight grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of quince, tart/juicy lemon and small notes of crisp apple combined with fine grape seed, lychee, a fine hint of white flowers and a subtle hint of toasted almond and nutty butter in the background. Almost a discreet tannic edge in both aroma and structure. Good length.
