The nose is fruity, racy and offers pulpiness as well as power. There are notes of nectarine, apple and, to a lesser extent, zest, combined with hints of gunflint, a discreet floral touch and an imperceptible hint of fresh pepper. The palate is fruity and reveals juiciness, minerality, freshness, harmony, good definition, some airiness in the approach, and precision. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy apple, crisp vine peach and more slightly lychee combined with delicate touches of zest, gunflint and a subtle almost varietal/local grove. Freshness and juiciness. Fine honey/pastry hints and a subtle hint of nutmeg in the background. Good length.
