The nose is elegant, fruity, racy and offers a certain power, some linearity and a fine grain. There are notes of fresh/crunchy boysenberry, wild dark berries and slightly fresh Bigarreau cherry combined with a fine touch of violet, red berries and a hint of star anise and a very discreet varietal touch. The palate is fruity and reveals minerality, freshness, a certain tension, some sweetness, a certain straightness and a fine fluidity. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/fresh blackberry, raspberry and slightly fresh cherry notes combined with a fine touch of violet, fresh purple plum, a discreet hint of zan and a subtle hint of spice. Freshness. Good work on the bitter taste on the persistence. The tannins are discreetly sticky.
