The nose is fresh and fruity, revealing a fine concentration and a certain depth. There are notes of bright yellow apple, quince and more lightly pulpy, fresh yellow berries combined with hints of tangerine blossom, a subtle hint of apricot blossom and discreet hints of almond, fresh nutmeg and racy minerality. The palate is well managed, fresh, fruity and reveals minerality, fullness, a nice acidic backbone, energy, a nice grain and a fine complexity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy, juicy yellow apple, crisp pear and more lightly quince combined with hints of fresh, crisp yellow berries, fine zest as well as discreet hints of nutmeg, almond, sweet spice and a subtle almost varietal quality (in the background). Good work on the bitter taste. Subtle chewiness, almost crushed almond on the finish/persistent. A discreet tannic character.
