There are notes of wild blackcurrant, ripe blackberry and more lightly violet combined with hints of crushed red berries and a subtle touch of tobacco and nutmeg. The palate is fruity and offers minerality, freshness, juiciness, a mineral backbone, a fine roundness and concentration. On the palate this wine expresses notes of small concentrated/juicy red berries, violets and more slightly juicy blackcurrant combined with a touch of plum blossom and fine notes of clove. Good length.
