The nose is fruity and reveals fine power, fine concentration, fine toastiness, precision. There are notes of pulpy boysenberry, fleshy strawberry and more lightly blueberry combined with hints of fleshy/juicy red berries as well as fine graphite, toastiness, a discreet hint of sense of place, a subtle touch of vanilla and pepper. The palate is fruity and offers minerality, a mineral backbone, good definition, pulpy/juicy fruit and a certain gourmandize. There are notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, raspberry and more lightly juicy/pulpy cherry combined with fine blueberry tips and fine caramelisation/pastry tips. Good length. Soft, sapid tannins. Sapidity and fine salinity on the finish/persistence.
