Domaine Raoul Gautherin – Vaudésir 2020 – Chablis Grand Cru

The nose is nicely aromatic, fruity, juicy and reveals a nice complexity and aromatic palette. There are notes of pink lychee, quenette and small notes of sweet tangerine combined with delicate touches of lemon, exotic fruit, sweet pink grapefruit, crushed green apple, as well as fine touches of passion fruit and a very discreet hint of vanilla (in the background). The palate is fruity, well conducted, tense, precise and reveals volume, some richness, gourmandize, a certain juiciness / brightness of the fruit, a nice maturity, finesse in its grain, minerality, a nice roundness and a melodious side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of sweet/juicy grapefruit, pink lychee and small notes of quenette combined with hints of crushed green apple as well as hints of vine peach, passion fruit and a subtle hint of sweet rose petal. A touch of sweet white wood in the background. Good length. A wine that is all about gourmandize.
