Château Lamothe Vincent – Héritage 2021 – Bordeaux Supérieur

The nose is floral and peppery. There are notes of violet, lily and, more slightly, fleshy wild blackberry, combined with hints of pepper and a fine touch of camphor and spice. The palate is fresh, mineral (racy minerality), balanced and reveals a fine uprightness as well as an acidic backbone. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/full-bodied blackberry, creamy blackcurrant and, more lightly, varietal/rose, combined with hints of fresh/full-bodied plum, creamy berries, as well as fine toasted vanilla and a subtle hint of toast in the background. Good length.
