Château Guichot 2021 – Bordeaux

The nose is fruity and shows a good maturity of fruit. There are notes of crushed strawberry, crushed blackberry and, more slightly, liquorice, combined with hints of vanillin and discreet blueberry. The palate demonstrates freshness, minerality, a straight/linear side, some suavity and fattiness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed blackcurrant, crushed/pulped raspberry and more slightly fleshy strawberry combined with hints of violet, liquorice as well as fine vanillin, blueberry and a subtle hint of toasted hazelnut. The tannins are mellow.
