Château Madran 2021 – Bordeaux

Château Madran 2021 – Bordeaux

The nose is fresh, racy, a little tight and reveals some power. There are notes of blackcurrant, crisp red berries and more lightly of violet combined with fine touches of nutmeg, spice/pepper and a hint of tea. The palate is fruity and offers minerality, a juicy/acidic structure, good definition, tension, precision, tightness, minerality and a fine roundness. On the palate this wine expresses pulpy/juicy blackberry, raspberry and more lightly blackcurrant notes combined with delicate touches of violet, lilac, mocha as well as fine toasted and almond hints. Nice freshness/minerality. The tannins are pronounced and slightly drying.
