The nose is fresh, fruity and reveals concentration and a fine, tight grain. There are notes of boysenberry, wild blackcurrant and slightly grey pepper combined with hints of fresh lily, wild red berries, as well as hints of liquorice and a subtle vanilla/bergamot. The palate is fruity and shows freshness, minerality, freshness, fine tension and a hint of flowers. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, fresh/pulpy cherry and more lightly raspberry combined with hints of lilac, fresh lily as well as fine hints of bright blackcurrant and bergamot and a discreet touch of mocha. Good length.
