The nose is fresh, racy and reveals a fine depth of fruit. There are notes of fresh cherry, pulpy/fresh strawberry and, more slightly, pulpy wild blackberry combined with fine touches of crushed berries and subtle hints of pepper and fresh tobacco. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, brightness, gourmandize, acidity, good definition and energy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/acidic cherry, bright raspberry and more slightly acidic red plum combined with fine touches of fresh/acidic blackcurrant, racy minerality and a subtle hint of fresh flowers and a very discreet touch of fresh pepper.
