This Triple Malt has got a cognac color, shiny and transparent. The nose is delicate on almonds and morello cherries in brandy. Then the plum appears. It is there, discreet, but it is there. We smell ume (Japanese plum) with cooked apricot. Grains are in the background. It’s simple, effective. The palate is round, powerful and subtle. We find the elements of plum with the cherry stone, ume, cooked apricot, roasted almond. Without forgetting the grains. There is a beautiful freshness. The mouth is like the nose. Gourmand. There is a slight hint of salt on the finish. We start with notes of reine claude (greengage plum) and mirabelle plum, delicate. Nice discovery.
