The wine is deep, shiny and limpid. It has a cherry color. The first nose is aromatic with empyreumatic notes of cocoa but also of roasted hazelnut. We also smell juicy black fruits such as blackberries and cherries. With aeration, there is depth with sweet spices, vanilla, stewed black fruits, a touch of leather and black pepper. The attack has a little sweet touch. There are stewed black fruits such as blackberries and cherries with vanilla. The tannins are present but quickly disappear to leave a salivating mid-palate. We have toast and sweet spice notes like cinnamon. There is a nice freshness with menthol. It’s juicy. The finish is balanced with bitter cocoa, fresh blackberries and hazelnuts.
