The nose is fresh and it offers pulpy fruit as well as a certain concentration. There are notes of crushed blackcurrant, pulpy Boysen blackberry and more slightly crushed currants associated with a touch of cherry, cherry blossoms as well as a hint of vanilla, liquorice, a discreet hint of star anise, of pepper and a subtle hint of paprika. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers juiciness, freshness, good definition, a certain gourmandize, a tangy frame, tension, finesse in its richness as well as a little airy side representing a better version. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy / juicy blackberry, fleshy / tangy redcurrants and more slightly of fresh / crunchy raspberry associated with touch of cherry blossoms, violet, star anise, with fine hints of toast as well as a subtle hint of saffron (on its floral side) and a discreet hint of cocoa. Tannins are structuring. Good length. Presence of a very discreet bitterness on the finish / persistence.
