The nose is elegant, all in delicacy and offers subtlety, a nice silky side, racy as well as a nice finesse of the grain. There are notes of pulpy / fresh blackberry, raspberry and more slightly crunchy small blackcurrants associated with iris, fresh lilies, redcurrants, mocha as well as discreet (elegant) varietal hints, to subtle notes of sweet spices and toast. A discreet hint of fresh saffron (floral). The palate is fruity, balanced, nicely elegant, with finesse / control and offers radiance, nice definition, fat, roundness, a certain power as well as a richness with finesse and control. An accuracy in this wine. Creaminess but with finesse and not with the opulent / heavy side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy / juicy blackberry, violet, fleshy / juicy redcurrants and more slightly of lily, iris associated with touches of fleshy small red fruits, toast as well as fine hints of tonka bean, cardamom, saline minerality, mocha and a subtle hint of toast. Tannins are all in elegance and finesse. Good length.
