Château de France 2019 – Pessac-Léognan

The nose is fruity, well-rounded and offers elegance, a nice rich fruit as well as certain level of power. It reveals notes of crushed cassis, strawberry and small bright fruits associated with delicate touch of violet, zan, saline / iodized hints, lilac as well as a very discreet hint of cinnamon and sweet spices. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers juiciness, a tangy frame, gourmandize, good definition, a certain depth, accuracy as well as a nice acidity. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of tangy / pulpy blackberry, bright cassis and slight hint of pulpy raspberry associated with lily, violet, small currants as well as hints of gravelly minerality /iodine, cardamom, cocoa and a subtle hint of varietal in the base/finish.
