The nose is elegant, delicate and offers power in subtlety as well as a nice very fine texture. It reveals notes of bright blackcurrant, boysenberry and lightly crushed wild strawberries associated with delicate hints of blue berries, crushed raspberry (see slightly stewed) as well as hints of Sichuan pepper, lily, nutmeg and a subtle hint of fresh tobacco. The palate is fruity, balanced, elegant and offers juiciness, a nice freshness (all in delicacy and subtlety), energy, finesse, a small tart frame as well as a nice and delicate stretched side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy / juicy blackberry, pulpy / juicy raspberry and more slightly of fresh currants associated with touches of bright blue berries, licorice, lily, toasted oak, cardamom as well as delicate hints of caramelization and Bourbon vanilla. Tannins are precise, fine and delicate. Good length. Pretty and sapide persistence. A pretty square of fresh, fine and delicate velvet.
