It reveals notes of raspberry, blackberry and slightly nutmeg associated with touches of pulpy berry fruits, crushed currants, pepper and a subtle hint of blond tobacco. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, juiciness, minerality, fine richness, good definition, elegance, roundness as well as a little fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy / pulpy blackberry, fresh / crunchy raspberry and more slightly of fresh berries associated with a touch of crunchy strawberry, juicy / tangy purple plum, with hints of caramelization, toastiness, almond as well as a subtle hint of tonka bean and licorice. Tannins are precise and finely mellow. Good length. Presence of a hint of chocolate on the persistence.
