The nose is all finesse / elegance and offers a nice aerial approach, controlled power, complexity as well as a certain depth. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, camphor and violet associated with touches of juicy / tart blueberries, cornflowers / lily as well as discreet hints of pepper and a subtle hint of sense of place. The palate is fruity, racy, elegant, balanced, all in subtlety / delicacy in its power / in its structure and offers juiciness, unctuosity, an acidulous frame, good definition, gourmandize as well as a nice finesse and texture. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy / pulpy blackcurrant, pulpy raspberry and more slightly cornflowers associated with touches of pulpy currants as well as fine hints of lily, plum, chocolate, caramelization and an imperceptible hint of sweet spices. Tannins are precise, powerful, polished, well-rounded and elegant.
