The nose is elegant, fresh and fruity. The wine wins if it is decanted. There are notes of blackberry, fairly ripe cassis and more slightly violet associated with touches of small blue fruits / ripe plum as well as hints of saffron, discreet hints of licorice stick, with a subtle hint. of tea and a very discreet hint of cloves. The palate is fruity and offers a nice freshness, juiciness, energy, verticality, a little fat, roundness as well as a fine tangy frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy / luscious blackberry, luscious purple plum and more slightly violet associated with touches of fresh cassis, fresh blueberry as well as hints of toasted, chocolate, toasted hazelnut and a subtle hint of bergamot (in the background). Tannins are precise and offer a little mellowness. Good length.
