Château Haut-Cadet 2019 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is fruity and offers a certain small power as well as a finely tight and racy grain. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, cassis and slightly gray pepper associated with touches of lily as well as a subtle hint of iris, red berries and spices / nutmeg. The palate is fruity and offers an acidulous frame, juiciness, minerality as well as some power of the grain. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of wild cassis and small notes of pulpy raspberry associated with touches of small fleshy red berries, violet, iris as well as a hint of gray pepper, paprika and a subtle hint of cinnamon. Tannins are well developed. Small toasted on the finish / persistence.
