On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy / pulpy blackberry, concentrated cassis, violet associated with touches of bright wild red currants, licorice, Cuben pepper as well as delicate hints of mocha and a subtle hint of toast/coffee on the finish / persistence. Good length.
