The nose is fruity and offers a fine power. It reveals notes of bright Boysenberry, bright cassis and more lightly violet associated with touches of crushed raspberry, luscious plum as well as discreet spices and a hint of pepper. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, juiciness, a certain gourmandize, fat, roundness, an acidulous frame as well as a small pulpy side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy / juicy raspberry, Boysenberry and more slightly pulpy plum associated with a touch of wild strawberry, cardamom, toasted as well as a hint of chocolate and a fine almost varietal hint on the finish / persistence. A fine bitterness on the finish.
