The nose is aromatic and offers power, a nice fine texture, depth and intensity. It reveals notes of small wild red currants, green pepper and more slightly sweet spices associated with touches of cassis, cherry as well as hints of nutmeg, cardamom, with fine hints of sub -wood and a very discreet hint of vanilla (in the background). The palate is fruity, balanced and offers juiciness, a pretty gourmandize, suavity, a tangy frame, tension as well as richness in balance. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy / tangy raspberry, dried strawberry and more slightly cassis associated with touches of cocoa, toasted, cardamom as well as hints of coffee, mocha and a subtle hint of undergrowth. Tannins are precise, smooth, tight and elegant. The finish is very discreetly tight. Good length. A wine offering power in delicacy as well as gourmandize.
