The nose is fruity, discreetly tight and offers a certain elegance, silkiness and fine grain. It reveals notes of Boysenberry and bright little blue plum associated with hints of vanilla, blueberry as well as a hint of strawberry, fine hints of pepper and a subtle hint almost colas. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, minerality, a tangy frame, a tight grain, a little airy side in its power as well as tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy / juicy blackberry, pulpy / juicy cassis and more slightly of wild raspberry associated with small touches of blue plum, hints of blueberry, sweet blond tobacco as well as fine hints of vanilla, toasted almond, nutmeg and a discreet hint of chocolate. Tannins are precise and discreetly powdery. Good length.
