The nose is mineral, a little tight and offers a fine concentration. It reveals notes of blackberry, fairly ripe raspberry and slightly camphor associated with touches of dried strawberries, gray pepper, undergrowth as well as a hint of truffle. The palate is fruity, balanced, discreetly tight and offers pulpy fruit, a nice acidulous frame and a little concentration. On the palate this wine expresses notes of tangy raspberry, small tangy / juicy blueberry associated with touches of blackberry, hints of undergrowth, almond, a fine hint of camphor, pepper as well as a very discreet hint of paprika (in the background) and vanilla. Tannins are racy. Presence of a subtle hint of mocha on the base / finish.
