The nose is powerful, concentrated and offers a certain elegance. There are notes of fairly ripe blackberry, dried violet and more slightly black pepper associated with pretty touches of ripe blue fruits (blueberry, plum) as well as a hint of camphor, nutmeg, to very discreet hints of black pepper, undergrowth and a subtle hint of vanilla. The palate is nicely fresh, elegant, gourmandize and offers a nice definition, an acidulous frame, minerality, fat, roundness, elegance as well as a little tension. This wine expresses notes of pulpy blackberry, pulpy blue currants and more slightly of blue plum associated with touches of violet, zan as well as fine hints of camphor, black pepper and a discreet hint of under -drink. Tannins are well developed and finely firm. Presence of a fine saline / sapid hint and caramelized almond on the finish / persistence.
