On the nose it is fresh, spicy and offers controlled power, a fine grain, “fresh” power as well as depth. It reveals notes of graphite, crushed cassis, Boysenberry and more slightly bright raspberry associated with touches of quite ripe blueberry, violet, pepper, fine hints of spices as well as a very discreet hint of saffron and bergamot. On the palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, balanced, racy and offers a nice tangy frame / marked by limestone, “contained” shine, velvety, very fine salinity, roundness as well as juicy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy / pulpy blackberry, tangy raspberry and more slightly tangy / juicy plum associated with touches of juicy / bright small fruits, with hints of toasted almond, hazelnut, vanilla as well as ‘with a subtle hint of tobacco and subtle hints of spices. Good length. Tannins are precise, fine and supple. Nice finish on the palate. Fresh, tangy and sapidity persistence. Good persistence. A nice powdery side on the finish / persistence.
