The nose is fresh, aromatic and offers a certain power / concentration. There are notes of blackberry, fairly ripe small black fruits and more slightly crushed strawberries associated with touches of crushed blue fruits, crushed almond, hints of pepper, incense as well as a subtle hint of graphite and toasted / caramelized hazelnut. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers power, racy minerality, freshness as well as a certain tension / straightness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy / blackcurrant, fairly ripe black blackberry and more slightly of fairly ripe raspberry associated with touches of pepper, caramelization, toasted hazelnut, hints of violet as well as a subtle hint of grilled thyme and cocoa. Tannins are structured and discreetly tight.
