The nose is aromatic and offers a fine power as well as a fine powdery side. It reveals notes of fairly ripe blackberry, luscious purple plum and more lightly powdery chocolate combined with touches of violet, toasted almond and a subtle hint of Bourbon vanilla. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers minerality, a little pulpiness, fat as well as a mineral structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy / pulpy blackberry, juicy raspberry and more slightly cornflowers, juicy / fresh small fruits associated with touches of powdery chocolate, Bourbon vanilla as well as a subtle hint of toasted almond and toasted hazelnut. Sapidity and gourmandize on the finish. Tannins are fine and supple.
